Hotel cleanliness is one of the most important factors affecting guest satisfaction and overall hotel operations. Night Time Hotel Cleaners play a vital role in ensuring that hotels remain clean, hygienic, safe, and presentable for guests and staff. Working during night hours allows cleaning activities to be carried out efficiently while minimizing disruption to hotel guests and daily hotel operations.

 

This position is suitable for both experienced hotel cleaners and individuals who are looking to begin a career in the hospitality and cleaning industry. Previous hotel cleaning experience is not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided to all successful candidates. Employees will receive guidance on cleaning procedures, workplace safety, proper use of cleaning equipment, and hotel hygiene standards.

All work locations are conveniently accessible by MRT and public transportation. Employees will be assigned to a permanent workplace upon confirmation and will generally not be required to rotate between different hotels or locations. This arrangement provides consistency and stability for employees while allowing them to become familiar with their assigned workplace.

 

Available Shift Schedules

 

Standard Night Shift

 

• 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Bugis, Marina Suntec, Mandai Zoo)

 

• 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM (Changi Airport Area)

 

Extended Night Shift (12 Hours)

 

• 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Orchard and Mandai)

 

• 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM (Sentosa)

 

Night shifts are particularly suitable for individuals who prefer working during quieter hours, enjoy a more structured work environment, and are comfortable maintaining a daytime sleeping schedule. Night operations often provide a focused working atmosphere with fewer interruptions compared to daytime shifts.

Key Job Responsibilities

 

As a Night Time Hotel Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards throughout the hotel. Duties may include but are not limited to:

 

• Cleaning hotel public areas including lobbies, reception areas, corridors, lifts, waiting areas, function rooms, and common spaces

 

• Cleaning and maintaining staff facilities and service corridors

 

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing designated areas

 

• Cleaning and disinfecting toilets, washrooms, and restroom facilities

 

• Replenishing tissue paper, soap, toiletries, and other restroom supplies

 

• Collecting, removing, and disposing of rubbish according to hygiene procedures

 

• Cleaning glass surfaces, mirrors, and fixtures

 

• Polishing surfaces when required

 

• Ensuring floors remain clean, dry, and safe for hotel guests and employees

 

• Reporting maintenance issues such as water leaks, damaged fixtures, faulty lighting, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors

 

• Following cleaning schedules, hotel procedures, and workplace safety guidelines

 

• Assisting supervisors with additional cleaning assignments when necessary

 

Employees are expected to maintain high standards of cleanliness, pay close attention to detail, and perform duties in a professional and efficient manner.

 

Job Requirements

 

• Able to commit to assigned night shift schedules

 

• Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning duties

 

• Responsible, punctual, and disciplined

 

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

 

• Able to work effectively as part of a team

 

• Good attitude and willingness to learn

 

• Able to follow instructions and workplace procedures

 

• Must wear black pants and black shoes while on duty

 

• Prior cleaning experience is an advantage but not required

 

• Training will be provided for candidates without experience
