I’m helping my parents sell the flat that’s been our family home since I was a kid. Honestly, I truly believe it’s one of the best homes in Singapore. If I had the choice, I’d still pick living here over 99% of condos or landed houses out there. Here’s why:

This is easily the biggest plus. From Marymount MRT, it’s just 1 stop to Bishan (Junction 8), and a direct line to Serangoon (NEX), Holland Village, Buona Vista, MacPherson, Paya Lebar, and more — all within 25 minutes. And you often get a seat since most people get off at Bishan.

Unlike newer BTO flats, this place has real space.

The living and dining areas are big (we even merged the balcony to make it larger)
The helper’s room is also quite decent in size
Natural light flows in nicely and the layout just works well.

We’re on the 10th/11th floor (top floor). Not super high, but the views are still open and unblocked since surrounding buildings are lower.
The unit is North-South facing, which means good breeze most of the year and no direct sun.

Junction 8 is just one MRT stop away, which already covers most daily needs. But on top of that, we’re also:
