Position: Retail Assistant / Cashier (Full-Time)

Location: Singapore

Salary: SGD 1,800 – SGD 2,700 per month

About the Role

 

As a Retail Assistant / Cashier, you will play an important role in supporting daily store operations while delivering excellent customer service. Successful candidates will receive structured on-the-job training and work in a professional retail environment with opportunities for career advancement.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Cashier Operations

 

– Operate POS systems accurately

– Process cash, card, and digital payments

– Handle refunds and exchanges according to company procedures

– Maintain accurate cash handling records

 

Customer Service

 

– Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner

– Answer basic product inquiries

– Help customers locate products within the store

 

Stock & Merchandising

 

– Replenish shelves and maintain product displays

– Monitor product expiry dates

– Assist with stock receiving and inventory organization

– Ensure promotional displays are properly arranged

 

Store Maintenance

 

– Maintain store cleanliness and hygiene standards

– Keep aisles and work areas safe and organized

– Follow all workplace safety procedures

 

Operational Support

 

– Assist supervisors with daily store operations

– Participate in stock counts and inventory checks

– Perform additional duties as assigned

 

Working Hours

 

Stores operate 24 hours daily. Employees may be assigned to:

 

– Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

– Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

– Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

 

Work Schedule:

 

– 6 working days per week

– 1 rotational rest day

– Full-Time Permanent Position

 

Requirements

 

– Male or Female

– Minimum 21 years old

– Physically fit and able to stand for long periods

– Comfortable handling cash transactions

– Responsible and detail-oriented

– Good communication skills

– Able to work independently and within a team

– Willing to work rotating shifts

– No experience required (training provided)
